Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist at Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging under supervision, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images.

Requires ARRT diagnostic radiology certification, and state licensure is preferred. BLS is required at hire for some locations. EPIC EHR and PACS experience are preferred; 1 year radiology experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred).
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
• State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state).
• BLS certification required at hire for specific locations.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient's clinical history and lab work; document information for practitioner.
• Positions and immobilizes patient for imaging.
• Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Performs radiographic procedures using imaging equipment.
• Verifies informed consent and completes documentation.
• Assists with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures; aseptic technique as needed.
• Performs timeout per policy.
• Identifies, prepares and/or administers medications/contrast as prescribed.
