Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist (Harmonized) for Willard Hospital to perform diagnostic imaging under supervision, ensuring safe exposure and high-quality images.

The role requires ARRT diagnostic radiology certification, state licensure where applicable, BLS, and 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care. EPIC EHR and PACS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred).
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
• State licensure (preferred, unless required by state).
• BLS from American Heart Association (required at hire for certain locations; preferred/required prior to independent patient care).
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred).
• Experience with Radiology Information System (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient clinical history and labs; ensure information is documented for licensed practitioners.
• Positions and immobilizes patient to demonstrate anatomic area of interest.
• Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Operates imaging equipment to perform radiographic procedures.
• Verifies informed consent and completes pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assists licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography; aseptic technique as needed.
• Performs timeout as required by policy.
• Identifies/prepares/administers medications/contrast as prescribed.
