Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health’s DePaul Medical Associates seeks a Radiology Technologist to apply imaging techniques under supervision, emphasizing safety and patient comfort in diagnostic radiology.

The role requires ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology, state licensure preferred, BLS at hire, and about 1 year of radiology/patient-care experience; familiarity with RIS, EPIC EHR, and PACS is a plus. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred).
• AR RT Certification in Diagnostic Radiology required.
• BLS required at hire for certain locations; preferred prior to independent patient care at Bon Secours Mercy Health.
• Experience with Radiology Information System (RIS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and documents lab results for licensed practitioner.
• Position and immobilize patient to best demonstrate area of interest.
• Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Operate imaging equipment to perform radiographic procedures.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic procedures and aseptic technique.
• Perform informed consent verification and pre/post procedure documentation.
