Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Radiology Technologist (Harmonized) at St. Francis Downtown to perform diagnostic imaging under the supervision of an authorized user. The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate imaging, and collaboration within an interprofessional team.

Required ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology and active state licensure where applicable; BLS is required for hire at some locations. EPIC EHR and PACS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred).
• ARRT certification and registration in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
• State licensure (preferred, unless required by state).
• BLS Basic Life Support (required at hire for certain locations; preferred at hire).
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred).
• Experience with Radiology Information System (RIS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient's clinical history and lab work as needed for licensed practitioners.
• Positions and immobilizes patient to best demonstrate the area of interest.
• Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Performs radiographic procedures using imaging equipment and accessories.
• Verifies informed consent and complete pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assists licensed practitioner with fluoroscopy and specialized radiography; maintain aseptic technique.
