Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for DePaul Medical Associates. The role involves diagnostic imaging under physician guidance, maintaining patient safety, and precise documentation of procedures.

You will work with ARRT-certified imaging, EPIC EHR, and PACS, ensuring quality images and adherence to radiation protection standards. The position requires ARRT certification, state licensure preference, BLS, and about 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Associates from an ARRT accredited institute is preferred.
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
• BLS for hire is required at some Mercy Health locations.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and lab work for physician use.
• Positions and immobilizes patient for imaging.
• Uses radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Operates imaging equipment to perform procedures.
• Verifies consent and completes pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assists licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and radiographic procedures.
