Job summary

Mercyhealth seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography and related patient care. You will prepare patients, position them for imaging, and ensure high-quality images while maintaining safety standards.

Experience with PACS and radiology information systems is required, with ARRT registration and state licensure as applicable. Responsibilities include collaboration with radiologists, providing student guidance, and adhering to universal protocols and patient identifiers.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology with ARRT Radiography registration.
  • WI-DSPS radiographer license required; Illinois IEMA-DNS accreditation may apply if working there.
  • CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures.
  • Corroborates patient history with procedure and documents information for radiologist and provider.
  • Prepares and positions patient, provides instructions to obtain desired results and minimize anxiety.
  • Operates imaging equipment and accessories to perform procedures; ensures quality control and correct identification.
  • Uses PACS and radiology information systems; submits images for physician review and interpretation; provides instruction for radiography students.
