Job summary

Geisinger is seeking Radiologic Technologists responsible for administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. The role involves performing a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and acquiring necessary diagnostic data.

The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety, prepare and document medications, and comply with regulations. Healthcare benefits, including vision, and dental coverage, are offered from day one.

Qualifications

• New graduates must obtain an ARRT-R registry within 6 months of the date of hire.
• Applicants hired after March 10, 2024 must complete steps required for advancing to level 2 within 24 months.
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct order is obtained, patient is identified and prepared for exam.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocol, optimize technical factors for safety.
• Evaluate images for proper positioning and technical quality.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures.
