Job summary

WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist I to join the Diagnostic Radiology team in West Virginia. You will rotate through all diagnostic areas, perform imaging procedures, and ensure high-quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include selecting appropriate exposure factors, educating patients, and coordinating with staff to deliver efficient radiology services.

Qualifications

• Current Radiography license for the state where services will be provided.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• State and Federal background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Rotate in all Diagnostic areas (Fluoro, Mobiles, Routine, OR, Endoscopy, Orthopedics).
• Perform imaging procedures per patient status, service request, and imaging protocols.
• Produce high-quality images with proper exposure and equipment use.
• Select exposure factors based on patient size and pathology to minimize radiation.
• Educate patients about procedures and respond to questions.
• Coordinate daily workflow with radiology staff and nursing teams.
• Comply with ARRT Ethics, WVUH Policies, and Joint Commission guidelines.
