Indiana University Health is seeking a full-time diagnostic radiology technologist for the day shift, Monday through Friday. The position involves operating imaging equipment, preparing patients, and collaborating with medical professionals for accurate imaging.
The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience, hold an active Registered Technologist status, and be certified in Basic Life Support. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants. The role is onsite and does not require holidays or weekends.
Full-time diagnostic radiology technologist (Day shift M - F 8:30am - 5:00pm). No holidays, no call, no weekends. Must be willing to travel to 4 of 7 clinic locations. CT experience is a plus.
Operates imaging equipment such as x‑ray, fluoroscopy, portable x‑ray, and surgical fluoroscopy. Prepares patients by explaining the exam and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols. Documents detailed patient history and necessary information in EMR. Stays current with continuing education. Monitors patients during exam for safety. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.
