Indiana University Health System is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to operate imaging equipment for surgical procedures. Prepare patients, explain exams, and position correctly while collaborating with radiologists to ensure precise imaging.
The role requires BLS, 0–3 years of experience, and active ARRT RT(R) certification or board eligibility with credential within 6 months. An ISDH license or Radiology Student Permit is also required.
This is a PRN position requiring 1 shift per month and 1 holiday per year.
Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery. Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols. Documents detailed patient history. Stays current with continuing education. Monitors patients during exam for safety. Documents necessary information in EMR. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.
