This role offers a 36-hour week on a 3x12 schedule with day shifts and rotating weekends. Compensation ranges from $30.00 to $44.00 per hour based on experience, with comprehensive benefits and PSLF eligibility.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of radiologic technology experience; recent graduates welcome.
• Board eligible status (must obtain radiography credential within 6 months of hire).
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Current Indiana ISDH license as Radiologic Technologist or ISDH Radiology Student Permit.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment including X-ray, fluoroscopy, portable X-ray, and fluoro in surgery.
• Explain exams and position patients correctly.
• Monitor patients for safety and comfort during exams.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Follow radiation safety protocols at all times.
• Document patient history and exam details in the EMR.
• Assist with minimally invasive procedures and continuing education.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, portable X-ray, and fluoro equipment used in surgery.
• Prepare patients by explaining exams and positioning them correctly.
• Maneuver equipment and improvise positions when patient conditions prevent routine positioning.
• Monitor patients during exams to ensure safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality, accurate imaging.
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols at all times.
• Document detailed patient history and examination details accurately in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
• Assist with minimally invasive procedures as needed and stay current with continuing education requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 0 to 3 years of relevant experience. Recent graduates of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible) are welcome to apply.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• Active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or board-eligible status (must obtain the radiography credential within 6 months of hire).
• Licensure: Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as a Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.
