Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Technologist) to join our urgent care team in Brownsburg, IN. You will operate imaging equipment, prepare patients, and provide comfort while obtaining high-quality images.

This role offers a 36-hour week on a 3x12 schedule with day shifts and rotating weekends. Compensation ranges from $30.00 to $44.00 per hour based on experience, with comprehensive benefits and PSLF eligibility.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of radiologic technology experience; recent graduates welcome.
• Board eligible status (must obtain radiography credential within 6 months of hire).
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Current Indiana ISDH license as Radiologic Technologist or ISDH Radiology Student Permit.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment including X-ray, fluoroscopy, portable X-ray, and fluoro in surgery.
• Explain exams and position patients correctly.
• Monitor patients for safety and comfort during exams.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Follow radiation safety protocols at all times.
• Document patient history and exam details in the EMR.
• Assist with minimally invasive procedures and continuing education.
