Job summary

Carle Health in Peoria, IL seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiographic procedures for patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification as Radiologic Technologist (R).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - IEMA.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits competency and serves as staff resource for radiographic procedures.
• Ensures image quality with proper views, filters, and patient ID.
• Maintains patient safety and radiation protection throughout procedures.
• Maintains clean, stocked work area and operates equipment knowledgeably.
• Performs lab tests as appropriate.
• Ensures timely imaging reports and accurate HIS/PACS entry.
