Job summary

RadNet in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams, while monitoring patient well-being and communicating clearly with physicians and staff.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification, a state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, and a BLS certificate, with at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred. A sign-on bonus and loan support program are available.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• BLS certification.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams and answer their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
