Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures for patients of all ages, under the direction of a Radiologist. The role requires independent judgment to adapt procedures to obtain specific results.

Responsibilities include maintaining image quality, protecting patients from radiation, and supporting QA/QC in a collaborative imaging team environment. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are offered where eligible.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration in Radiography.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (IEMA).
• Certificate/Associate degree in Radiologic Technology and related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately per guidelines and under radiologist direction.
• Ensures image quality with proper views, filters, collimation, markers and patient ID.
• Maintains patient comfort and radiation protection throughout the procedure.
• Troubleshoots equipment and supports QA/QC processes.
• Maintains clean, stocked work area and assists with lab testing as appropriate.
• Supports departmental operations and timely image/paperwork turnaround.
