Job summary

Carle Health in Urbana, IL is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computerized axial tomography procedures, manage contrast administration, and ensure imaging quality per department protocols.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree or Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology, BLS, ARRT CT and Radiography credentials, and 1+ year radiology experience. A sign-on bonus is available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Essential education includes an Associate's Degree or a Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
• Licensure requirements include BLS, ARRT CT, ARRT Radiography, IEMA radiologic technologist license or NMTCB CNMT depending on track.
• Radiology experience of 1+ years is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures and assigned invasive exams per department protocols.
• Administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast as appropriate and manages adverse reactions.
• Reviews patient history and labs to ensure correct exam and imaging quality.
• Transfers and verifies image data in PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and supports cross-training across modalities.
