The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Computed Tomography) position reports to the Radiology Service within the Memphis VA Medical Center. The role involves performing computed tomography of the head, neck, spine, chest, and body to achieve diagnostic studies for proper diagnosis and treatment. The incumbent may work variable shifts, including on-call duties, and may be required to operate different modalities.
Monday-Friday with variable shifts including weekends: 7:30am-4:00pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, 4:00pm-midnight, and midnight-8:00am.
Applicants must be certified in general radiologic technology by ARRT (R). Advanced certification in CT is required for specific duties. Education must be from an accredited program, and certification must be maintained. Non-certified candidates may be considered for a limited period under specific conditions.
