Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray procedures under the direction of the Radiologist. You will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, ensure safety and quality of images, and maintain accurate records.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited radiography program with NJ RT licensure, ARRT certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
