The Radiology Department at Beth Israel Lahey Health – Needham is seeking a Diagnostic Radiographer for Monday-Wednesday shifts 9:30am-8pm, with weekend coverage as needed. This role focuses on patient-centered imaging with modern equipment and collaboration with radiologists and tech staff.

Ideal candidates have ARRT certification in Radiography, a strong knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting while providing excellent

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Radiology preferred.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required; if new graduate, must achieve within 6 months.
• MARadTech-Radiography license or MA Temp License; ARRT certification; BLS required.
• 0–1 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Aufgaben

• Follows departmental guidelines and protocols in performance of all procedures in diagnostic radiology, and in accordance with Infection Control policies.
• Schedules and documents exams; maintains accurate and complete records relative to examinations performed.
• Performs quality control on all equipment according to standard procedures.
• Greets all patients by appropriate title; provides education appropriate to the exam and provides a complete medical record to the Radiologist.
• Demonstrates competency in radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging on inpatients, outpatients, ED patients and in the surgical setting.
