Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham is seeking a Diagnostic Radiographer for weekend night shifts (Sat-Sun 11p-7a). The role involves performing radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging with strong attention to patient care and accuracy in records. Requires ARRT-RAD, MARadTech license, and BLS.

Eligible candidates must have a high school diploma, up to 1 year of experience, and familiarity with hospital IT systems. Sign-on bonus programs apply and eligibility depends on internal policy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in Radiology preferred.
• ARRT certification required.
• MARadTech radiography license required.
• BLS certification required.
• 0-1 years related experience preferred.
• ARRT radiography certification required.
• If new graduate, ARRT completion within 6 months.
• Experience with computer systems including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Follows departmental guidelines and protocols in diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Schedules and documents exams; maintains accurate records.
• Performs quality control on equipment.
• Greets patients and provides exam education; delivers complete medical records to Radiologist.
• Demonstrates competency in radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging in various settings.
