Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Radiology Department at Needham is seeking a Diagnostic Radiographer for weekend night shifts (Saturday and Sunday 11 p.m.–7 a.m.). You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging, maintain accurate records, and support physicians and technologists in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires ARRT-RAD certification, MARadTech-Radiography license, and an Associate’s degree in Radiology; BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree in Radiology preferred
• ARRT-RAD certification required; if new graduate, must achieve within 6 months
• MARadTech-Radiography license required
• ARRT-RAD registration required
• BLS certification required or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Follows departmental guidelines and protocols in performance of all procedures in diagnostic radiology.
• Schedules and documents exams with accurate records.
• Performs quality control on all equipment.
• Greets patients, provides exam education, and forwards medical records to Radiologist.
• Demonstrates competency in radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other staff in a fast-paced environment.
