Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Radiographer to perform high-quality imaging procedures for diagnostic purposes and to maintain accurate patient records. You will assist with preparing and sanitizing equipment and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. 0–3 years in radiography, with preferred experience in a health care facility setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
