Job summary

Cardinal Health’s Clinical Laboratory Products and Services segment is expanding to support hospital and reference labs across the Northeast.

The Lab Diagnostic Sales Specialist will manage the capital equipment sales process, from lead generation to closing with manufacturer partners, covering chemistry, immunology, histology, microbiology, hematology, and molecular diagnostics within the specified territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferred.
• Sales experience in laboratory industry, selling capital equipment into hospitals and reference laboratories is strongly preferred.
• Functional understanding of laboratory workflow and processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new sales opportunities and develop plans for introducing new solutions with manufacturers and Lab Product Representatives.
• Execute on business opportunities and maintain a robust pipeline across the diagnostic instrumentation portfolio.
• Manage end-to-end sales process of capital equipment in the clinical laboratory and close system sales in chemistry, immunology, histology, microbiology, hematology, and molecular diagnostics within the assigned region.
