Job summary

UVMMC - Medical Center - Main Campus in Burlington, VT is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Tech I in the Diagnostic Radiology department. The role performs routine radiographs across multiple areas, including Orthopedic Clinic, Fluoroscopic and OR procedures, under the direction of radiology leadership.

Part-time position with regular hours of 32 weekly, Eve/Night shifts, and every-other weekend. Requires ARRT certification and Vermont state licensure; experience in a bargaining union environment is

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT.
• ARRT certified and licensed with the State of Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs in all Radiology areas, including Orthopedic Clinic, Fluoroscopic and Operating Room procedures.
• Work under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists.
• May be required to work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Diagnostic Imaging Tech I demonstrates knowledge and sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the radiology department. They operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs in all Radiology areas, including Orthopedic Clinic, Fluoroscopic and Operating Room procedures and the use of the c-arm, according to established practices under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists. May be required to work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis.

EDUCATION:

Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT. ARRT certified and licensed with the State of Vermont.

EXPERIENCE:

ARRT certified and hold a current license with the State of Vermont.

This is a bargaining union position.
