Job summary

UVM Health - UVM Medical Center seeks a Diagnostic Imaging Tech I to operate x-ray equipment for routine radiographs across Radiology areas including Orthopedic Clinic, Fluoroscopic and OR procedures. Responsibilities include following established practices under a Radiologist and Lead Technologists across shifts at multiple campuses.

Must be ARRT certified and licensed in Vermont, and graduate from CAHEA/JERCT-approved program. Weekend and holiday work with on-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT.
• ARRT certified and licensed with the State of Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs in Radiology areas.
• Work in Orthopedic Clinic, Fluoroscopic and Operating Room procedures with c-arm under supervision.
• Adhere to established practices under Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists; may work varied shifts and on-call.

They operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs in all Radiology areas, including Orthopedic Clinic, Fluoroscopic and Operating Room procedures and the use of the c-arm, according to established practices under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists. May be required to work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis.
