Job summary

UVM Health - UVM Medical Center is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Tech I to operate x-ray equipment and perform routine radiographs in various Radiology settings, including Orthopedic Clinic and OR procedures, under supervision.

The role requires ARRT certification with an active Vermont license and graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program. Shifts may include weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations across multiple campus locations.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and Vermont state license required.
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs across Radiology areas, including Orthopedic Clinic, Fluoroscopic and Operating Room procedures and the use of the c-arm.
• Work under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor and Lead Technologists; may work varied shifts across multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotation basis.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT

They operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs in all Radiology areas, including Orthopedic Clinic, Fluoroscopic and Operating Room procedures and the use of the c-arm, according to established practices under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists. May be required to work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis.
