Responsibilities

• Perform general registration duties by interviewing patients or their representatives.
• Enter accurate information into forms and computer systems.
• Collect co-payments and obtain signatures.
• Escort patients to destinations when required.
• Maintain scheduling for the department and/or procedures.
• Coordinate services with physicians' offices and verify room/equipment availability.
• Protect patient PHI and ensure confidentiality.
• Build collaborative relationships with staff to support department goals.
