Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Radiography certification with ARRT or NMTCB.
• Must possess current state licensure as required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Background check and fingerprint as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares room, equipment and materials for patient exams and maintains sterile technique.
• Performs CT exams per physician orders and explains procedures to patients.
• Documents protocol variations and relays patient data to Radiologist.
• Monitors patient and equipment and reports unusual occurrences.
• Maintains accurate patient records and labeling for imaging studies.
• Assists with infection control and safety practices and protects staff and patients.
