WVU Medicine Harrison Community Hospital in Cadiz, OH is seeking a CT technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures and rotate through diagnostic radiology as assigned. The role emphasizes radiation safety and accurate documentation according to physician orders and patient condition.

The position requires a Medical Imaging Program graduate, ARRT/NMTCB certification within 6 months, and an Ohio Radiography license as needed, along with BLS within 30 days of hire.

Formación

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Radiography certification with the ARRT or NMTCB within 6 months of hire.
• Must possess current or temporary Radiography license as required by the state board where services will be provided.
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• State and Federal background checks as required for regulated areas.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares room, equipment, and materials for patient exams and maintains sterile technique.
• Performs CT exams per physician orders and communicates variances to Radiologist.
• Observes patient and equipment, reports unusual occurrences, transports and assists patients as needed.
• Documents patient status in radiology/CT chart and relays data to radiologist.
• Maintains stock and labelling of films; ensures quality and consistency of imaging; adheres to infection control and safety policies.
• Uses PACS to ensure exams are completed and available for reading by radiologists and referring physicians.
