Job summary

WVU Medicine's Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV seeks a radiology CT technologist to join the CT Department. You will perform diagnostic CT procedures, ensure safety, and maintain quality imaging under radiologist supervision. 36-40 hours per week with call and holiday coverage; sign-on bonus options available.

Applicants should be a graduate of a medical imaging program with ARRT or NMTCB certification, WV radiography license, and BLS within 30 days. Prior CT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Radiography certification with ARRT or NMTCB within 6 months of hire.
• License as required by state where services are provided (WV license or other state endorsements).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Background checks as required for regulated areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare room, equipment and supplies for patient exams and maintain sterile technique.
• Perform CT examinations per physician orders and communicate variations to radiologist.
• Observe equipment and patient, transport and assist patients as needed.
• Document patient status and exam details in the radiology chart.
• Maintain labeling, quality control and safety protocols for radiation exposure.
