Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim invites aspiring professionals to join the Diabetic Sales team as a Pharmaceutical Sales Intern in one of our national regions. You’ll work with seasoned sales experts who mentor you through real-world, hands-on pharmaceutical selling experiences.

You will contribute to discovery, development and delivery of treatments while gaining insight into a global biopharma environment that supports mobility, networking and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
• December 2027 – May 2029 graduates only (rising Junior or Senior)
• Student must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship
• Overall cumulative GPA 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
• Major or minor in related field of internship
• Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours
• Graduate students must have completed at least 9 credit hours
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work the full duration of the internship: May 17, 2027 – August 13, 2027

Responsibilities

• Participate and successfully complete training and selling skills development
• Engage with customers in partnership with a mentor/coach, including Virtual Engagements
• Attend weekly conference calls with regional field sales to capture learnings
• Schedule appointments for sales colleagues and participate in in-service programs
