Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Internship to join the diabetes sales team for real-world experience in selling pharmaceuticals. You will learn selling skills, engage in clinical discussions with customers, and participate in weekly regional conference calls.

Current undergraduates or graduates enrolled in an accredited program are welcome to apply, with a focus on a related field and a 3.0 GPA preferred.

Qualifications

Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
December 2027 – May 2029 graduates only (rising Junior or Senior).
Student must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship.
Overall cumulative GPA 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) preferred.
Major or minor in related field of internship.
Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours.
Graduate/Advanced degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours.
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Must be able to work the full duration of the internship: May 17, 2027 – August 13, 2027.

Responsibilities

Participate and successfully complete training and selling skills development.
Engage with customers and participate in clinical discussions (including Virtual Engagements).
Attend weekly conference calls with regional field sales to share learnings and insights.
Schedule appointments for sales colleagues and participate in in-service programs.
