Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a talented Pharmaceutical Sales Intern to join our diabetes sales team. You will train with experienced professionals, engage with customers in clinical discussions, and participate in weekly regional calls to gain hands-on selling experience.

The internship runs May 17, 2027 – August 13, 2027, requiring full-time commitment and enrollment as a student through the duration. Strong interpersonal and digital skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate, graduate, or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
• Graduating between Dec 2027 and May 2029 (rising junior or senior).
• Must be enrolled for the duration of the internship.
• 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale) or higher preferred.
• Major or minor in a related field of internship.
• Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours; graduates must have 9 credits.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training and selling skills development.
• Engage with customers with mentor/coach, including clinical discussions.
• Attend weekly conference calls to capture learnings and insights.
• Schedule appointments for sales colleagues and participate in in-service programs.
