Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim USA is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Intern to join our diabetessales team across one of our national regions. You will work with experienced sales professionals on real-world, hands-on pharmaceutical selling experiences.

The program combines training, mentorship and regional field exposure, with opportunities to engage in clinical discussions and in-service programs during the internship May 17, 2027 through August 13, 2027.

Qualifications

Must be an undergraduate, graduate, or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
Graduation window: Dec 2027 – May 2029 (rising Junior or Senior).
Enroll at an accredited college/university for duration of internship.
GPA 3.0 or higher preferred (on a 4.0 scale).
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Participate in training and selling skills development.
Engage with customers in partnership with a mentor/coach (clinical discussions incl. Virtual Engagements).
Attend weekly conference calls with regional field sales to capture learnings.
Schedule appointments for sales colleagues and participate in in-service programs.
