Job summary

Saildrone is seeking a Manager, Homeland Security Growth to drive new business and manage federal accounts in the DHS ecosystem, including USCG and CBP. You will shepherd complex proposals, align with product and mission teams, and advance autonomous maritime solutions for national security needs.

You’ll build a robust pipeline, lead end-to-end sales cycles, and establish strong relationships with homeland security clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of federal government sales, account management, or BD experience focused on DHS/USCG/CBP.
• Strong knowledge of homeland security maritime operations and coastal surveillance.
• Solid understanding of ISR payloads and autonomous marine systems (USVs/AUVs).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for government proposals and briefings.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Active security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and develop new DHS components leads (e.g., USCG, CBP).
• Manage end-to-end federal government sales cycle, including RFI/RFP responses and contract coordination.
• Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and forecast revenue.
• Collaborate with mission operations, product, and engineering to scope DHS requirements.
• Serve as primary point of contact for homeland security clients through handoff to mission execution.
• Represent Saildrone at federal and defense conferences and events to build brand awareness.
• Gather budget trends and competitor activity to refine government sales strategies.
