Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Ohio is seeking team-oriented individuals for full- and part-time positions in retail stores. You will operate the cash register, assist customers and process donations, helping maintain a welcoming store environment.

The role requires reliability, ability to work independently or with others, and compliance with company policies. Random drug testing and background checks apply, with opportunities for growth in a mission-driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register according to policies and procedures.

• Clock in/out daily in Paycom using login information.
• Share in housekeeping duties and maintain store appearance.

Responsibilities:Operate cash register according to Goodwill of South Central Ohio policies and procedures.Provide excellent customer service; greet each customer as they come into the store and practice the 3-foot rule.Ensure the proper handling of all monies by adherence to GWSCO’s policies and procedures.Assist in the collection of donations coming into the store. Ensure all customers get a receipt if desired.Clock In/Out daily for scheduled shifts in Paycom using your unique login information.Share in housekeeping duties and maintain store appearance.Assist in the production, tracking and stocking of wares and textiles at the direction of management.Follow all Goodwill of South Central Ohio policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Demonstrated ability through prior experience to work and manage all types of people, including those with disabilities. A self-starter who can work independently and as a team player. Able to organize and carry out multiple duties without assistance. Able to deal with stressful situations.Pleasant personality and neat appearance.Will be subject to the company’s random drug testing procedures.Must pass a Goodwill-approved criminal background check and not appear on any government registries that track abusers or other such offenses.Hiring full and part time. Benefits for full time only.Education and or Experience:At least 2 years of experience in retail store management or related field.
