Job summary

Fluke Health Solutions in Everett, Washington seeks an Operations Engineering & DFX Manager to stand up a new engineering pillar focused on design-for-excellence and operational KPIs. You will lead a cross-functional team onsite, own metrics such as yield, DPPM, and on-time delivery, and work with Quality, Materials, Production, R&D and HR to align capacity with the operating plan.

The role offers visibility to Fortive’s engineering community and a clear path toward senior operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or related); advanced degree a plus.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment with mentoring/leadership of engineers.
• DFX / design-for-manufacturability leadership and ownership of KPIs (yield, DPPM, OTD).
• Fluency with Fortive Business System or Lean/Six Sigma.
• Experience in medical device or ISO/FDA-regulated manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering KPI bowler—first-pass yield, DPPM, on-time delivery; drive countermeasures as targets slip.
• Own the design-for-excellence agenda across NPI and end-of-life.
• Lead Fortive Business System in the function (PSP, 3P, VRK, Standard Work, Daily Management) and build hiring plans.
• Lead and develop the DFX & Operations Engineering pillar across the biomedical portfolio.
• Partner with Quality, Materials, Production, Service, R&D, and HR to align capacity with the plan.
