Qualifications

• Experience in home health business development is required.
• Proven track record of generating home health referrals and increasing patient census.
• Strong existing relationships with healthcare referral sources in the DFW market are highly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of the home health referral and admission process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to increase qualified patient referrals and grow agency census.
• Establish, maintain, and expand relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, physicians, case managers, SNFs, rehab centers, and other referral sources.
• Identify new referral opportunities throughout the DFW metroplex.
• Conduct regular in-person visits, meetings, presentations, and follow-ups with referral partners.
• Build and maintain a strong, productive referral network.
• Collaborate with clinical, intake, and operational leadership to ensure a smooth referral and admission process.
• Monitor referral activity, conversion rates, admission trends, and overall business development performance.
• Meet or exceed established referral and admission growth targets.
• Represent the agencies professionally at healthcare networking events and community activities.
• Identify market trends, competitive opportunities, and potential strategic partnerships.
• Maintain accurate documentation of referral activities and business development efforts.
