Job summary

Milwaukee Electronics Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented DFM & Quote Technician to support manufacturing planning and quoting for PCBAs. You will review customer designs, identify manufacturability issues, and coordinate tooling to enable accurate quotes and efficient production.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Customer Support, perform DFM reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while working on-site in a hands-on team environment.

Qualifications

• AS degree or two years of experience with PCBA troubleshooting/repair or SMT equipment programming.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read technical drawings and customer data accurately.
• Strong verbal, written, and phone communication skills.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English; follow technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct DFM reviews of customer drawings and data to assess manufacturability and cost impact.
• Order stencils, SMT carriers, and other tooling; maintain tooling log.
• Develop PCB panelization and tooling recommendations for efficient production and reduced defects.
• Communicate findings to Customer Support and coordinate with Engineering on tooling concerns.
• Support NPI activities: BOM loading, tooling orders, and 3D printed tooling.
