Job summary

MOHR Talent in Miami, FL seeks a Bone Density Technologist to perform DEXA scans and ensure a comfortable patient experience. This role is focused on DEXA/Bone Density with a steady schedule.

A Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, DEXA certification, and hands-on DEXA experience are required. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates relocating to Miami; Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–4:00 PM. Hologic experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform bone density/DEXA exams according to physician orders and established protocols
• Verify patient information and exam orders
• Explain procedures and assist patients with proper positioning
• Produce accurate, high-quality images while following radiation safety procedures
• Enter patient information and maintain accurate exam records
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance or technical issues
• Work closely with radiologists and the clinical team to ensure quality imaging
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide occasional X-ray support in emergency situations, as needed
