Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Bone Density Technologist in Kendall, FL (33186) for an in-person, full-time role from Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 4 PM. The position offers a stable workflow, emphasis on patient care, and opportunities to cross-train with mammography.

ARRT and bone-density certifications are required; Mammography certification is a plus. Responsibilities include imaging per prescriptions, maintaining safety standards, confirming orders, coordinating with radiologists, and ensuring

• Associate's Degree in Radiology Technology.
• Hologic equipment experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform bone density imaging per physician prescriptions and protocols.
• Apply radiation safety measures and ALARA principles.
• Verify patient identity and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologist to ensure image quality and minimize repeats.
• Maintain equipment functionality including scheduled maintenance and updates.
• Provide occasional emergency X-ray support as needed.

Bone Density Technologist

A well established and growing imaging practice with a reputation for quality patient care is hiring a Bone Density Technologist to join their team. This is a stable, well run practice where the volume is steady, the scope is focused, and the team genuinely cares about their people.

What You'll Do:

• Perform bone density imaging based on physician prescriptions, following manufacturer guidelines and established protocols
• Apply radiation safety measures and ALARA principles to protect patients and staff
• Verify patient identity, confirm orders, and maintain accurate documentation
• Work closely with the radiologist to ensure image quality and limit repeat procedures
• Maintain equipment functionality, including scheduled maintenance and software updates
• Provide occasional emergency X-ray support as needed

What You Bring:

• Active ARRT certification with Bone Density Certification in hand
