Job summary

Aleron is seeking a DevSecOps - Platform Engineer in Melbourne, FL. This temp-to-perm role supports platform operations and container orchestration, ensuring security and compliance across CI/CD and observability.

You will lead efforts to maintain stability, provision environments, and scale systems while collaborating with teams in IT services. Requires 6+ years of leadership of tech teams and a STEM degree; active Secret Clearance is required.

What You'll Bring:

Additional Technical Skills:

• Proven experience in software testing within IT environments with a strong focus on mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
• Hands-on expertise in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD), and scripting languages like Python or Bash (Unix shell).
• Solid understanding of API testing methodologies for RESTful services; familiarity with JSON/XML data formats is essential.
• Experience working with version control systems including GitHub, GitLab, SVN or TFS; knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB or DB2; ability to perform data analysis skills for troubleshooting issues.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban; experience with defect tracking tools like Jira or HP ALM is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis; excellent debugging skills are essential for identifying issues efficiently
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes including requirements gathering, design review, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Technical support experience related to software troubleshooting within complex system environments
