Aviture is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to embed with a customer team and own secure, automated CI/CD pipelines in an onsite engagement. You will shape secure infrastructure and practices across multi-cloud environments, integrating security early and continuously into the development lifecycle.

You will automate infrastructure with Terraform/Ansible, enforce secure-by-default patterns across AWS/Azure/GCP, and collaborate with engineering to balance security and speed.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS or Cybersecurity or equivalent security production experience.
• 3+ years in DevOps/security/platform roles with automation focus.
• Proficiency with GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions and security-in-pipeline integrations.
• Hands-on cloud experience with IAM, networking, and encryption on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and securing workloads at scale.
• Strong understanding of secure coding principles, threats, and mitigations.
• Excellent communication; explain vulnerabilities to developers without sounding like a compliance bot.
• Active Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Embed with a customer team to design and implement secure, automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security checks into every stage of the software development lifecycle.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for repeatability.
• Work across AWS, Azure, and GCP to enforce secure-by-default patterns.
• Collaborate with development and operations to shift security left without slowing delivery.
• Implement and maintain tools for vulnerability scanning, SAST/DAST, and compliance monitoring.
• Log, monitor, and alert on system activity to detect subtle issues early.
• Define policies and guardrails balancing usability with security best practices.
