Job summary

AnaVation is seeking a Software Engineer-DevSecOps to support our cybersecurity program in San Antonio, TX. The role develops and manages CI/CD pipelines and automates security control implementation across value streams.

You will work with IaC/CaC tooling (Packer, Terraform, Ansible), container tech (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm), and security tooling to ensure ATO/cATO readiness while collaborating with ISSEs, developers, and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
• Experience: 4+ years in DevSecOps/CI/CD pipelines
• Security-focused and cloud/IAAS knowledge
• Proficient with IaC/CaC tools (Packer, Terraform, Ansible) and container tech

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for many applications
• Develop, test, and maintain containerized apps; manage source control and build/release tooling
• Develop IaC/CaC using Packer, Terraform, Ansible
• Automate security controls and evidence collection to support RMF/ATO/cATO
• Integrate pipeline security tooling (SAST/DAST/SCA, container scanning)
• Collaborate with ISSEs, developers, and government stakeholders across sprints
• Architect logging/monitoring for continuous monitoring and Zero Trust readiness
