AAA Auto Club Enterprises seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to embed security into engineering platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and developer workflows. Lead secure-by-default tooling across on‑prem and cloud‑native environments, balancing speed with risk reduction while enabling scalable security automation.

You’ll collaborate with engineering teams to harden pipelines, implement container and cloud security controls, and drive continuous compliance through automated evidence collection and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or DevSecOps in regulated environments.
• Hands-on securing CI/CD pipelines and modern stacks.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container tech.
• Scripting with Python or Bash; Linux and Git proficiency.
• Strong technical communication with engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum practices.
• Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Embed automated security controls into CI/CD pipelines across build, test, and release stages.
• Build and maintain internal DevSecOps tooling and platform extensions.
• Track production and cloud environments to detect misconfigurations or intrusions.
• Drive cloud-native security architecture across AWS and Azure environments; implement Kubernetes security controls.
• Evaluate and integrate security tools to standardize and reduce complexity.
• Translate regulatory requirements into automated engineering controls and evidence collection.
• Collaborate with developers on secure coding and safe cloud configurations.
• Lead vulnerability management and threat modeling discussions.
