The Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State University is looking for a motivated Research Computing Software Engineer to join their Cloud Technology Advancement Department. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree + 1+ years of relevant experience for Intermediate position.
• No prior work experience required for Professional position.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure automated infrastructure solutions.
• Perform and review pull requests, unit tests, and documentation.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure code.
• Configure and optimize compute resources and networks.
• Demonstrate work to internal team and external customers.
• Coordinate with Agile team to identify project requirements.

Skills
