Job summary

Banner Defense is seeking a GMD DevSecOps Engineer to architect, build, and scale the IDDE DevSecOps environment across hybrid cloud platforms. You will deploy containerized workloads with Kubernetes, implement automated CI/CD, and enforce security via STIG and tooling integration.

The role requires deep IaC experience with Terraform, strong cloud skills in Azure and AWS, and a SECRET+ clearance. Exceptional collaboration and leadership are essential in a fast-paced defense context.

Qualifications

Master's degree plus 12 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's with 20 years.
Active security clearance (SECRET or above) required.
Hands-on Terraform IaC deployments.
Experience with Kubernetes in production.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Experience in Azure and AWS enterprise cloud environments.
Windows Server, AD, GPOs, SCCM administration.
STIG analysis and security tooling integration.
Experience with hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
CompTIA Security+ certification required.

Responsibilities

Architect and provision the IDDE DevSecOps environment using Terraform.
Deploy, manage, and scale containerized apps with Kubernetes.
Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy.
Administer Windows Active Directory and hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
Collaborate on STIG evaluation and embed security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Create documentation and manage deployment orchestration.
Travel may be required.
