Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a DevSecOps Specialist to support TCODE and report to the Program Manager. This role may be hybrid, with a preference for local candidates around Scott AFB, IL and St. Louis, MO.

You will manage CI/CD pipelines, maintain the software lifecycle, embed security into development and deployment, and implement observability to monitor performance and security. Collaboration with development, operations and security teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience.
• Must have and maintain an active Secret security clearance.
• Certifications – CKA, AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps – Associate.
• Security+ required.
• Mastery in Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS EKS/ECS, Docker, Istio, Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, Artifactory, cloud native tools, and CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: selecting, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD tools and processes.
• Software Maintenance: ensuring the deployed software product is maintained throughout its lifecycle.
• Security Integration: embedding security practices into the development and deployment processes.
• Observability: implementing monitoring and logging for performance and security visibility.
• Collaboration: working with development, operations, and security teams to streamline workflows.
