Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Atlanta, GA seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and automate software delivery on an Agile team using CI/CD tools within a DevOps lifecycle. You will improve lead time, cost efficiency, reliability, and metrics collection.

The role requires deep experience in automation, IaC, deployment strategies, monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration. Hybrid work model with onsite presence in Atlanta at least two days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in software engineering or IT consulting positions focused on DevOps Engineering or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating numerous internal tools for automation.
• GIT, TFS, Azure DevOps, Artifactory experience.
• SQL Server 2016/2022, PL-SQL knowledge.
• Informatica Power Center and Admin Console experience.
• Oracle 11g, Toad Data Modeler; Teradata/Vertica/DB2 knowledge.
• CA7, CA ESP, Autosys, Cron tab, Control M scheduler.
• Unix Shell Scripting, Putty/Winscp.
• Scaled Agile Framework
• ServiceNow familiarity.
• CI/CD pipelines and API development.
• Basics of Python, SAP BI 4.1, IBM Cognos.
• Basics of VB/ASP.NET.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate software delivery and operations on an Agile team using CI/CD tools in a DevOps lifecycle.
• Automate and streamline DevOps across IaC, build orchestration, artifact management, and release automation.
• Support DevOps as a strategic asset to improve business value flow.
• Coordinate with DevOps Center for Enablement (C4E) and share knowledge across teams.
• Engage as an influencer within workgroups and Agile/DevOps Communities of Practice.
