Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer specializing in network automation and NetDevOps to design and build a new CI/CD automation product for enterprise infrastructure. The role focuses on Day 0/Day 1 provisioning and Day 2 changes across multi-vendor environments, using GitLab, Ansible, NetBox, and cloud tooling.

In-office, 5 days a week, Atlanta-based, with a strong emphasis on automation frameworks and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent education and related training
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering
• Understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware

Responsibilities

• Builds and designs enterprise infrastructure platforms and systems across environments (cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, middleware)
• Applies automation, monitoring, and optimization to ensure high availability and performance
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve standards and processes
• Troubleshoots and resolves moderately complex technical issues impacting infrastructure performance and reliability
• Supports compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance
• Deploys infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures for operational consistency
• Proactively contributes to technical innovation and automation capabilities
• Works with project teams to support infrastructure deliverables
• Recommends enhancements in technical systems and processes
